Steere Company Timeline

In 1949, Frank W. Steere Jr. founded Steere Enterprises in the basement of his home. Vinyl plastisols had been newly developed and he felt this material had some very intriguing processing possibilities. His first product was vinyl coated bolts for a company named Industrial Rayon. Shortly thereafter, Steere Enterprises moved into a rented facility and eventually to its permanent location in 1962 in Tallmadge, Ohio.

Today, Steere is a second-generation family-owned business. We are especially proud of our heritage and the core values that have helped make us successful. The following timeline provides a glimpse of the first 50 years of Steere Enterprises.
